Then I had to take my Mom to the airport to return to Cali. :-(
The following night I met up with one of my high school besties, Shannon and her family. Then found out I got accepted into Leadership Denton, YAY!
We went to Kaboom town the night before the 4th, and I will never do that again. WAY TOO CROWDED. We sat idle in the parking lot for a good 1+ hours just trying to get out. The traffic was horrendous. At least the kiddos enjoyed it.

The 4th, we cooked out with the family, then headed out to the country to swim and shoot fireworks.

The following weekend, we met up with the Armstrong family for a camping trip. Being at the lake was a blast--tubing, skiing, relaxing. The boys would not go to sleep they were so excited to sleep in a tent.

They were exhausted.

So was Briggs.
The next 2 weeks we were busy with swimming lessons every evening. Beau is our water baby. He was the most comfortable in his class. There were even kiddos 3 years older than him in his class.

My OK girls came down to Texas, and we went to the Rascal Flatts concert. It was a 2nd incident of "feeling old" during my life. Between all the 14-year old's wearing Daisy Dukes, and the twitter post on the screen at the concert.........."thanks so much Daddy for the B-day celebration with the Flatts", etc...... Either way, we had fun with our adult drinks, ha.

That weekend, we met up with the Warrens for lunch, then headed to Uncle Julio's to celebrated Ann's 60th b-day.

Then Jaden's 7th b-day festivities started that evening. We stayed at the Sheraton hotel, then headed across the street to Hurricane Harbor the following morning. I hadn't been there in 15+ years--wow, it's not changed much. The boys had fun celebrating in the sun.

Sunday the 15th, we had a small family celebration for Beau's 3rd birthday. Then had his big boy birthday party a few weeks later. (Another blog....)
The following weekend, we went to Duncan to see our buddies, just because we love and miss them.

At the clinic, we were preparing for the new doc's arrival.

Moments in July--God shines his rainbow down on us.

And, I LOVE MY BOYS! Especially on nights like these, when we are reading/relaxing, and Rhett wants to play with my phone, games, take pics, etc.... Then we get silly. I love him to the moon and back times infinity.
