Colorado (& Cheyenne) Family Vacation

This year our family vacation was planned to explore Colorado. We decided to squeeze it in, right after school was out, the day after our move to TX, and before I began private practice.

Day 1-we left Denton, headed to Sante Fe, and stayed the night in Pagosa Springs, CO.
On the land, where the future summer home will be built.
A lot of driving, even had to bust out the paci to stop Beau from crying.
Beautiful Pagosa Springs, CO

Day 2-we went to the Four Corners, and saw tons of native American history. The cave dweller sights were amazing to think that people actually lived/survived in these places.

Stunning views
Looking to the ends of the earth with my loves.

Day 3-Caught the Durango train, and headed for Silverton. This was my favorite day of the trip. The boy's loved the train, and I relaxed and enjoyed the scenery.
Great for the environment :-/

Coming into town.

Day 4-spent driving through Vail, Winter's Park, on up to Este's Park.
Crossing elk, etc...
Hot Tubin' in the Hotel
Apparently, I unintentionally "flashed" a few in this suit (bought it when I was breastfeeding and times were bigger and better, haha).
Suckers were our saving grace.
In the "burban"

Day 5-saw Rocky Mountain National Park=Gorgeous.

The most natural thing ever--my breastfeeding soapbox. ;)
Beautiful Rockies
Ever seen "The Shining", this was the actual hotel.

Day 6-let's go to Cheyenne, WY, "just because we've never been there".
Beau & Grandpa at the Native American statue inside the WY Capital.

My little cowboy.

Day 7-Drive back South towards Pike's Peak.
